TARA ASHKAR (BHSc)
Clinical PMDD Naturopath
I became a naturopath because
no one had answers for me.
For years, I was navigating my own health challenges while trying to keep up with a life that looked fine from the outside.
After experiencing autoimmune disease, PMOS, hormonal acne, and reproductive surgery, I found myself searching for answers that went beyond simply managing symptoms. I felt dismissed, frustrated, and disconnected from my body - and it ultimately led me to study naturopathy.
I know, first-hand, how deeply your reproductive health connects to everything else.
Your mood. Your energy. Your relationships. Your sense of self.
I specialise in PMDD because it's one of the most misunderstood and dismissed conditions in women's health.
Women are told it's just PMS, handed a prescription that masks the symptoms, and sent on their way. I've seen what happens when the right support is finally in place instead, and I've built my entire practice around making that accessible.
No overwhelm.
No restriction.
Just a realistic plan that actually fits your life.
